Usernames and Thread Titles
The forum's usernames and thread titles are publicly displayed in IG's main site area. Therefore, we are extra pro-active in making sure that no offensive content is shown. Please mind the following rules: (1) Do not use profanity in your username. In addition, usernames that are offensive to anyone's ethnic background or religion will not be tolerated. (2) Do not use profanity in thread titles. Profanity is discouraged in general.
- Be courteous and respectful to your fellow forum members. Flaming or personal attacks will not be tolerated.
- No advertising. Promoting your own music or band is fine and encouraged, but any other form of advertising is not allowed.
- Do not post links to illegally distributed and/or copyrighted materials. Any support of pirated music, movies, or software is prohibited.
- Absolutely no pornographic or risque material may be posted, linked to, or discussed.
- Tread carefully with topics that may be personal to some people (such as religion or politics). If things can't stay civil, threads will be closed and people may be banned. Bottomline, just be respectful.
- Signature images are not allowed. Signature text must remain under 4 lines.
- The moderators and administrators of Infinite Guitar maintain the right to take whatever action they see fit in any given situation in the forums.
- Users who do not comply with the forum rules may be banned without notice.
