Lesson Excerpt: This riff is a great example of pure "groove metal". It just grooves! Just like in the last lesson, we're again focusing on using triplets. We have a good mix of both quarter and eighth note triplets. There is no palm muting here except for on the rests. Be sure to let the Low E string ring out nice and open.
