Registration and Login
How do I sign up?
You can sign up by going here.
You can then choose whether you’d
like a Basic membership or a Premium membership. Once you fill out
and submit the necessary information, you’ll
be an Infinite Guitar member!
I can't log in for some reason. Help!
Double check your username and password to make sure you are typing
them correctly. Also, keep in mind that
passwords are case sensitive, meaning that lower-case and upper-case letters
must be typed exactly how you originally registered your password. If you
lost your password, see the next question.
I lost my password. What do I do?
In order to recover your password, go here.
This will bring up a page where you can enter your registered email
address. An email will then be sent to that same email address with
instructions for resetting your password.
Premium Members
How do I contact an instructor directly?
Each
instructor has their own forum where you can contact them directly.
You can access the instructor forums by clicking here.
Please note that this forum is only available to Premium members.
How can I bookmark lessons or tabs so I can easily go back to them
later?
Infinite Guitar has a bookmarking system that allows you to bookmark
lessons and tabs so you can quickly access them whenever you want.
In order to bookmark, click the "Add to Favorites" button
at the top of your lesson or tab page. You can
then access your bookmarked lessons or tabs anytime by clicking the "My
Favorites" button
on the left navigation menu.
My credit card is about to expire. How do I update my credit
card info?
If your credit card is about to expire, or you'd like to use a different card, contact
us with your new payment information and we will update your account. However,
if you pay for your membership using Paypal, you can update your payment information
directly in your Paypal account.
I need to take a break. How do I cancel my Premium membership?
If you ever need to cancel your Premium membership, just contact
us at any time and we'll take care of it for you. Once you cancel, there
will be no future billings to your account and your membership will automatically
be downgraded to the free Basic membership.

I need a little help figuring out the "Lesson Search" interface.

After clicking a lesson in the Lesson Search list, when I'm done with the lesson and press "back" to return to my selection, the selection I made in the Lesson Search is gone. How do I click on lessons without losing the search selection I just made?
When clicking a lesson on the Lesson Search list, right-click the lesson, then select "Open in New Tab" or "Open in New Window". This way, you can just close the tab or window when you're done with a particular lesson, then return to the window where you made your search selection.
I can't view the video players, audio players, or the Chord Finder. What's wrong?
This can be due to one or both of the following reasons:
1. You either do not have Flash installed or have an outdated version. You can get the latest version of Flash here. However, if you already have the latest version of Flash and are still getting this error, click here.
2. Javascript is disabled in your browser. You can enable javascript by going to your browser's Options panel.
Look for javascript or scripting and click "enable".
The videos are taking forever to load on my computer. Why so slow?
This is most likely because you do not have a broadband internet connection.
Due to the high quality of our videos, their size requires a fast internet connection
to be optimally viewed. If you have a connection such as dial-up, we'd recommend
upgrading to broadband.
