I don’t actively watch too much tv since I’m so busy, but I do have some shows I just love. My all time favorite show is The Office. Awkward comedy at its best in my opinion. I also love the classics like Fresh Prince, Cosby, Seinfeld, Everybody Loves Raymond, Home Improvement and the like. hehe good stuff.

Likewise I dont watch alot of TV. But when I do its either to watch the Footy, Aussie rules football of course. Or Sopranos. I used to watch Deadwood too but I had to download that, they wont air it here šŸ™

All I basically watch is cartoons.

No MTV, No “reality” shows, no sitcoms, no stuff like The Sopranos or Eaunterage (I know, wrong spelling), but I do watch stuff like Home Improvement and The Fresh Prince and whatever else is on that I think looks interesting. I love to watch the discovery and TLC channels.

Agreed on the TLC and Discovery channel stuff. About a month ago, discovery had the most fascinating tv series I’ve ever seen. It was all on sharks. Truly one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. Insane footage of guys swimming with Great Whites, Bull sharks, and others. And the craziest thing, is that they were experimenting with a technique called “Tonic”, where a swimmer would touch the snout of a shark in a certain way to where the shark automatically goes into deep sleep. Amazing.

    Robert, you better like Spongebob.;)

Oh yeah Sean, you’d better believe I like spongebob. šŸ˜‰

But I still miss alot of the older shows that Nick had, back in what I call “The Golden Years:” Doug, Clarissa Explains It all, Snick, Are You Afraid of the Dark, Salute Your Shorts, What Would You Do, Nick Arcade, Double Dare, Wild And Crazy Kids, Ren and Stimpy, Ahhh! Real Monsters, All That, Kenan and Kel, Roundhouse, Rocko’s Modern Life, Hey Arnold, Action league NOW, The Angry Beavers, Invader Zim, GUTS, Adventures of Pete and Pete, Welcome Freshman, Secret World of Alex Mack…

    Man, those were the days.

haha that’s awesome. I’ve honestly only heard of 2 of those cartoons though. I’ve never been big into cartoons. But I tell ya what, Spongebob just owns. When he came along, I was hooked. Someday when I’m rich I’m gonna buy all 50 million Spongebob season DVDs.

Oh yeah, pre 70’s Samurai and Kung Fu films really tickle my fancy if I ever catch them on the independant channels. Prefferably when they aren’t dubbed. It adds to the magic šŸ™‚

Tales from the crypt – I love it, mind you only episodes that are actually any good.
    Also(*these are English TV shows)

    Only fools and horses
    Fawlty towers
    Blackadder
    Tales of the unexpected

The twilight zone and pretty much anything by Alfred Hitchcock

Band of Brothers is up there as the all time greatest thing to evr hit my telebox. Some superb acting, amazing scenes of war, really helps to depict what it would’ve been like, and the survibing veterans too boot.

Scrubs is an obsession of mine. I buy all the DVD for box set just because I can watch the same jokes 10 times and laugh every time.

And obviously, Top Gear, for reasons which really shouldn’t need explaining.

    LOST

    /thread

Seriously, though, LOST is easily one of the best TV shows of the past decade.

I don’t watch anything that demands me to come back and watch more (like LOST..). I want to be able to walk away and come back any time, and not really have missed anything important. So whenever I actually watch TV it’s mostly things like Frasier, Spin City or maybe even Mythbusters. Usually my TV is just turned on as was it a radio. I do know, that it isn’t very wise, economically. Hell, I don’t care that much! šŸ˜‰

Metalocalypse is pure unadulterated genius. It doesn’t get put on TV though over in blighty, but the other adultswim programs do, which, tbqh, is crap.
