Inside/Outside Picking Etude

Welcome! In this tutorial, we'll be learning a short etude taken from a song I wrote. The purpose of this etude is to practice our inside picking along with our outside picking. Firstly, let's make sure we're aware of the type of rhythmic notes we're playing. If you look at the tab/notation below, you'll see that there are six notes for every beat. Now it's time for the backing track! You'll hear the harmony and rhythm guitars playing along with you. If this tempo is a little too fast for you, go ahead and go on to the next page for the slower backing track.
