Sweep Picking as a Tool - Example 7

Steve Hubbard 107 lessons

For the final example, we have a textural diminished arpeggio run! Now, you may be thinking.. Doesn't this go against the whole focus of this tutorial? Well, somewhat.. but like I said, there is nothing wrong with 'sweep runs.' I'm mainly trying to highlight some different situations where we can use sweep picking.

Since this is meant to be 'textural,' don't worry too much about the rhythmic values noted in the tab. For practicing, you may want to try playing straight 16th notes. For practical use, it's open to your interpretation, and entirely dependant on the backing music.
