Now we come to the melodic lead riff.
We have a lot of legato here. Plenty of hammer-ons, pull-offs, and slides. Since most of the notes are generated using legato, make sure your legato playing is smooth and the notes are clear. Also, make sure the notes are equal in volume.
In bar 10, we're going to be using some vibrato on the longer notes. In the tablature, the vibrato is indicated by the horizontal wavy lines.
Lastly, notice the short sweep in bar 12? Make sure your picking is smooth while you do those downstrokes.
