    Hi there guys&gals,
    My name is Ajay and I am a psychiatrist by profession!! Been playing the guitar on/off for close to 20yrs but am still an amateur (thanks to my job)!! I love jazz/rock fusion and my favourite players are Brett Garsed, Greg Howe, Scott Henderson, Allan Holdsworth, Shawn Lane , TJ Helmerich, Tom Quayle ,Rick Graham and Reb Beach. My biggest dream is to get a hang of the legato/hybrid approach to guitar ala Garsed,Quayle and Graham….is proving bloody tough and at times I think it’ll never happen but am hoping signing with IG might change that!!
    I currently have a custom built Legra electric guitar with DiMarzio pickups. My amp is a Hughes and Kettner Edition Blue 30DFX and I would like to buy a boutique OD/Dist pedal…can’t make up my mind. Hope we can have a blast here…

    Welcome to IG Ajay!

    I have a feeling you’ve come to the right place! There’s lots of legato tutorials here with hybrid picking in the mix and I have a few more hybrid/legato tutorials planned.

    I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how accessible and supportive Tom and Rick (and all of the Infinite Guitar staff and members for that matter) are! They’re ALL great guys and awesome musicians and teachers/mentors! 😎 😉
