Hello everyone at Infinite Guitar! Been using your site for about a week now so thought I’d pop on and introduce myself.

Hi I’m Tony, been playing guitar for about 16 years. Currently I’m playing an Ibanez Prestige RG 1570, Charvel Desolation (which is an amazing guitar to play!) and an Ibanez RGA8 (8string).

I love metal music, that’s my passion but I love playing all sorts of styles (or atleast trying to!). I love the whole Djent/prog/texhnical side of things. Bands like Sikth, periphery, veil of maya, The Faceless.

So far I’ve found this site awesome! There is so much to learn. I’ve been working on my hybrid picking and legato alot recently as I really enjoy Fusion music. And the fact Tom Quale is giving lessons on here is just plain awesome, I have one of his dvds that I refer to alot.

    Anyway… I’m rambling…

Cheers guys, keep up the good work!

Welcome Tony! Great to have you. Your style is right up my alley. You gotta post some pics of that 8 string sometime! šŸ™‚

@Sean Conklin Hey thanks! Really glad to be here. Really is a wealth of knowledge on this site, absolute value for money!

I’ve actually been watching some of you’re lessons! Oblivion, the riff at bar 10.. Amazing! Had an awesome Symphony X vibe to it who are one of my favourite bands. Loved it.
I’d defo love to see more stuff like that from yourself. I’d love to see some sort of prog metal song writing tutorial aswell. Like tips to help creativity. Your drum lesson definitely helped spice stuff up and make things intresting

Ohhh, I also love synths and stuff… If you haven’t, check out The Browning, and even better Fail Emotions. Electronica prog metal… What’s not to love haha šŸ™‚
