Hey welcome to the club Ben! Great to hear that you’re seeing progress with your playing too.
I had never heard of that guitar brand before. Just googled it and they look pretty cool!
See you around the site man and take care,
Seanyea, it’s quite a rare make
i had never heard of it until i found a selection in a local shop
after my first play i was hooked hehWelcome Ben!
I used to have a Patrick Eggle ‘New York’ I think it was. They made/make nice guitars.
Hi Ben, š
I had never heard of “Patrick Eggle Guitars” until you mentioned it. After a little research, I’ve found them to be VERY desirable! Sort of “Paul Reed Smith-ish” IMO!
In fact there’s a 1994 Berlin-Pro Hardtail with a natural finish on ebay right now (Buy Now price = $1300.) and it’s GORGEOUS! šFor some reason, I can picture (IG Instructor) Richard Lundmark playing a Patrick Eggle guitar! It looks like something he would play! (I have no idea why I think that?!?)
Out of curiosity, what bridge do you have on yours? Some have complained about the functionality of the Wilkinson bridge. If you have it, do you like it (the bridge?)
Also, if you have Seymour Duncan pickups, what exact models are they? I couldn’t find where it said anywhere which Duncans they put in those guitars? I use Duncan “JB’s” in all my Les Pauls and a “Little ’59” in one of my Blade R-4’s. I really like a lot of the Seymour Duncan Pickups. They seem “tight & ballsy” to me (IMO!) š
Just curious!
Welcome aboard! Infinite Guitar kicks butt! š
~Bill Meehan~ š
I have seen the complaints about the bridge
But mine seems fine, some say it comes out of tune easily and quickly, but i;ve had no problemsbut in honestly i can;t tell you what they are, mine is not a new one.
It’s a 1996 model.
So almost as old as me heh, which makes it vintage in my opinion šEllo Ben woclome to the IG experience š
