Well Rick You have surpassed your self yet again, that my friend is fantastic!! your tone is great and your technique and phrasing are both flawless!! you have my vote for sure:) maybe one year I could enter a comp like this 🙂 anyway 10/10 Rick:)oh and the youtube vid is so cool 🙂

Thanks a lot Bill! After a bit of thought I decided to change my entry piece to the comp. Time will tell if it was the right decision tho 😉
Actually, I have misplaced the backup cd with all of the original audio from this track on it so I had to go with a backing track of reduced quality.

Personally didn’t like the boxy sounding reverb, but your tone besides that is excellent.

The section at about 1:45 ish, is brilliant, may be flashy, but I liked it.

Overall playing is great. Liked the return to the repeated motif. The middle 8 sort of bit with the whammy bar pull ups made a cool contrast to the rest of the, I suppose, happy mood of the song.

Amazing melodies in that one Rick!! I can totally see how it fits in with the theme of the creation of the planets etc. Totally cool. And as always, killer playing!

I even cut the audio out from the youtube entry and
put it on my MP player (right next to Petrucci, Satriani, Vai, Zaza, Loureiro etc’ collection =])

You’re better off taking the audio from the mp3 as opposed to the mono youtube audio.

is there any chance you tabbed this and will be happy to share it,
or I’ll need to start working of finding the notes myself
(because you wrote that I doubt if wrote the notes cause you remember them but thoght it would better off asking)

ho, and BTW, I made the audio from youtube sound good, but I didn’t any way to cut it from
the original site, cause if I would, I would definitley do it..

(and the video, with the stars and stuff is awesome =] I got it on my hard disc as well haha)

I have tabbed the solo but you would need to sign up to view the video and tabs which wouldn’t be a bad thing;)
