    Hey all you Guitarded shred-heads! It’s good to be back. My name is Doug Lane, and I’ll be in and out visiting y’all ALL THE TIME like that drunk good for nothing brother-in-law that knocks on your door at 3 AM, or your friend that invites himself to crash at your place and eats all your Captain Crunch in the morning. Sorry guys,you’re stuck with me.

    I’ve been a premium member on the site several times throughout my life. with a new year long subscription, an HD webcam, and a jerry-rigged recording setup, I’ve resolved to start being VERY active with my music on the internet from now on. I am also a member of guitarmasterclass.net , so I’d love to hook up with any of you that are also members on that site as well. I look forward to collaborating and studying with all of you!     Thanks for the kind words on my playing. The weather in Georgia is not so bad, I’m actually originally from Florida, so I’ve been used to worse weather for longer. I actually got here in the middle of august, so I think I missed the worst of the season.

    You sir, Mr.Conklin, are a badass! The first ever videos I learned on the website was Mind Melt, followed by destroy the alarm clock. I’ve been listening to some of the stuff that has come while I was gone, and I can’t wait to get to work on it! The way you play is a bit like I imagine I would like to play when I iron out the mistakes I have in my playing.

    Will do! I should have some time next week to record some videos, I might just revisit those songs so I can prepare for some of the newer material.
