In this second half, we're stepping it up a notch. The melody has crept up an octave, and we're implementing fills between many of the phrases. Be creative - The only real barrier here is the chord progression. The movement from chord to chord begs that you highlight notes in each to avoid confusing your audience. I implement various examples of this by incorporating fairly "obvious" arpeggio shapes which highlight the underlying chord. At the end, we go all out with a flurry of 5-string sweep arpeggios which really hit this concept home.
