I’ve seen the monster licks video, and I can play the entire lick. Meaning, that I have it memorized and at a much much slower pace 😀
I’ve been listening to Frank’s music for the past one year and I absolutely love his music and style but sadly I fail to understand his notion of utlilizing sweeping everytime! So yes, I practice his monster lick using strict alternate picking.
After learning the monster lick, my real understanding was how he connected arpeggio ideas over a single position. i.e. ascending and descending over two different arpeggios while staying in one position.
