Hey Guys,
I came across a lovely quote today and wanted to share it with you.
It is a mistake to think that the practice of my art has become easy to me. I assure you, dear friend, no one has given so much care to the study of composition as I. There is scarcely a famous master in music whose works I have not frequently and diligently studied. — Mozart
I also created a new thread so we can all share our guitar/music related quotes. Makes for good inspiration!
Cheers!

Yeah some of the classical founders have excellent quotes. This one by Bach has always been amusing to me:
“It’s easy to play any musical instrument: all you have to do is touch the right key at the right time and the instrument will play itself.”
– J.S. Bach

I like this one 🙂
You can’t always write a chord ugly enough to say what you want to say,
so sometimes you have to rely on a giraffe filled with whipped cream.
– Frank Zappa

This is my favorite quote :D:D:D
“Music speaks what cannot be expressed, soothes the mind and gives it rest, heals the heart and makes it whole, flows from heaven to the soul.”

I just hate to be in one corner. I hate to be put as only a guitar player, or either only as a songwriter, or only as a tap dancer. I like to move around.

“If you play music for no other reason than actually just because you love it, the skills just kinda creep up on you.” A quote by Nuno Bettencourt.
