I just made the mistake of watching the horror film ‘Rec’ on my own with the lights off. I live on my own and now I’m not going to sleep for a week! 😮
Easily the scariest movie I’ve ever seen! The ending is amazing – if you’re into horror movies and like being scared silly watch this film! If you live alone or don’t like horrors avoid like the plague!
Now – I need to watch a disney movie or something to calm down!!
    :eek::eek::

ha ha! I know how that feels. I once watched The Exorcist (part 1) all by myself at 10 pm. Didn’t sleep that whole night. But felt much better and forgot all about it by next day. I recommend watching some cartoons! 😀

I have a similar story .. when Nightmare on Elm Street came out on video. I was home on my own one winters night and decided to watch it and just at the scene where he walks down the alley way with his arms stretched out scraping the walls with the Kruger Glove the power went off everywhere here:eek: I sat on the doorstep for about and hour waiting for my parents to come home haha

The Ring did that for me. I swear to God that I could not walk past my television without flinching for a month.

BTW, I watched a trailor for Rec. It looks pretty cool. Is it a zombie flick?

Yeah it’s a Zombie flick. But it’s not your average zombie movie. It starts out as such but then at the end it makes you wish you’d watched ‘The Little Mermaid’ instead!! Haha! And I love horror movies. Best ending to a horror film I’ve seen.

I do like horror movies but have to admit that I have fallen foul of that before on my own. I watched ‘The Shining’ on my own and it really screwed me up, in particular the creepy twins that appear in the corridor. Nasty stuff but a great film nonetheless.

that movie scared me a lot when I was a child, I couldn´t sleep at night and I felt so bad I remember that I had fever too, a really ugly night!

but the movie I couldn´t see when I was a kid was The sentinnel, when the zombie of the girl´s father showed I had to change the channel…

another film that scared me was The sixth sense, when I was alone in my home I felt there was someone else in the room. some the people left the cinema when the scary scenes started… hehe!

Check out The Ninth Gate by Robert Polanski. Some crazy scary, and REALLY mysterious stuff. I really loved it. Gotta check out Rec then

Dude, awesome. I must check this out as I am a BIG horror movie fan. And I loooove zombie flicks.

Wanna see a good one? Watch Lucio Fulci’s Zombie. That one was beyond awesome. The makeup effects were superb.

I know well enough not to watch a horror movie all alone at night. I figure if I have screwed up nightmares watching them in the daytime with people in the house, I don’t even want to find out what happens when I watch one alone in the dark.:p

Ok I just got done watching [REC] and seriously, one of the best horror films I have ever seen. This easily beats any American horror film that has been made in the last 20 years.

The ending was just incredible. I had a downloaded version of it so everything was still in Spanish, but I could pick up on some of what they were saying. (go 4 years of high school Spanish classes!)

I don’t see why we have to go and ruin such a great film by remaking it. If some of you didn’t know, they are going to make an American version here, which is going to be called “Quarantine” Really a stupid idea, if you ask me. What they need to do is release the original in American theaters with subtitles. People would go for it.

I haven’t seen that movie, but to be completely honest, you haven’t seen scary until you’ve watched the video in this link. Beware, you have been warned! Don’t click it if you don’t want nightmares.

Just finished watching it. I thought it was an excellent film although I did cop out cos I wasn’t on my own. I love the scene where they are trying to find the keys and look down onto the staircase. Insanity……..
