    Hey Coop,

    I think you’re really gonna dig your Petrucci MusicMan! We got two of them in at the store where I teach, and I tried one out and was BLOWN AWAY! MusicMan is REALLY building & shipping excellent instruments these days. I’d say you have an excellent chance of getting a “good-one” if you know what I mean! Besides looking cool, I think the two most surprising elements to me were the comfort of the bridge (right-hand/palm-muting/anchor-point) and the comfort of the neck-joint/cutaway (left-hand – higher positions.) The only thing I DID NOT test was the tuning stability of the vibrato/whammy-bar after aggressive whammy abuse. I’m NOT saying it doesn’t work though! I just don’t know. (They don’t display the whammy equipped guitars with their bars/arms at the store where I teach…) I REALLY dig this guitar man. Congratulations!

    Congrats! I bought one last December and absolutely love it to death. really the absolute best guitar I have ever played on. It handles so many styles of music and I dabble in so many: jazz, funk, blues, metal, etc. The thing is built like a tank and the tone is incredible, especially the piezo. I swear that this one was made exactly for me cause it seriously fits like a glove. It plays like butter.

    The whammy I was surprised with. It handles ANYTHING I throw at it, and being a hardcore Satch fan, I always abuse the bar. And it constantly stays in tune. I have broken a few strings pulling it up too far but that’s about it. :p

    I guarantee you will not be disappointed with this when you get it.
