Line 6 spyder amp

    I have a Line 6 spyder amp and i was wondering if anyone else has the same amp? And if you do have the same amp could you post some of your favorite settings?

    Heres a site with a few settings on it, i like the Pantera one…

    I’m afraid i can’t help too much here as i have Marshall AVT50. But i heard some good things about Spyder.

    Yeah, I have a Spider II but I just mess around with the settings all the time.

    I’ve actually been interested in checking out the spider amps myself, still have yet to do so though. Every Line 6 item I’ve touched so far I’ve absolutely loved. Great gear.

    I have to agree about all Line 6 equiptment. Everything they make is fantastic. That’s a good idea about the section for amp settings, etc too Outlaw.

    Yeah, im very happy with my line 6 spyder… there are endless sounds you can get outta it… thats why i wanted to start a thread on the different settings people use and like…

    but check out some of the sounds you can get outta these line 6 amps on that first link… this thing is amazing

    Ugh, you guys seriously like the Spider II? I find it god awful.

    L6 do make some good stuff, but the Spider series aren’t in that category for me. Sure, as practice amps, they’re ok for finding and having lots of sounds, but as to the quality of those sounds? I dunno.

    The PODs are excellent, the ToneCore stuff is great, the big ass 4 button stomp things that I forget the name of, also great.

    Yeah.. Line 6 spiders are not my thing either, way to buzzy and kinda cheap sounding.

    The pod is in a tottally different realm of sounds than the spiders imo.
