I know you LOVE Mesa’s, but you have a Mark-V already, so I don’t know?!? Maybe a little Transatlantic for practicing/teaching? :confused:
I don’t think you’re a big “modeling-guy,” since you love playing-dynamics like rolling your volume-back, etc. …but you have praised the Fractal Axe-FX Ultra, and we all know how much you respect a few of the current guys who claim to be using the Axe-FX (whether for amp-models or just effects!) :confused:
OK, my guess is a Fractal Audio Axe-FX Ultra (good enough for Vai, Howe, and Sfogli, …..good enough for Hubbard!!!) š
My vote was for a SUHR Badger or the likes, but seeing your gear demo of that other amp,
makes me hesitant to say so (unless you are changing endorsements that is).
IF you are changing amps, I still say Suhr, if not, I think Axe FX is a good bet =)
I might also present some new exciting toys this fall, I’ll keep you posted =)

Used Badger 18 on its way! I’ll be getting a Port City Pearl (new version being designed) sometime in the fall. It’s strictly a clean amp.. Anyways, I should have the Suhr soon! I’m going to look at ordering a Suhr and trying oh-so-hard to get an artist-pricing deal with them.. Maybe late this fall!
I’m still really curious about the Axe-fx, but with my current gigging situation, sometimes we play through epic PA’s, sometimes not so epic.. Maybe some day!
