Hey guys!

I just put a deposit down on a new Suhr Chambered Standard!! Woo!! 😀

I’m going to pick it up when I get back from Musikmesse. I’m too excited to play now and I’m supposed to be practising for the show!

Goodbye to my Ibanez – I have to say that I won’t miss it! Sorry Ibanez fans!

Holy shizzat!!! Awesome Tom, can’t wait to hear you bustin’ out those smooth lines with it.
Where did you order it from, just of curiosity? I’d have to go for one from a retailer as I don’t think I could stand the waiting time direct from the factory :p

Hey Tom.
That is one seriously awesome Guitar. I tried out a few Suhr’s recently… fantastic Guitars.
I’m ditching Ibanez soon too, I’ve played them for years but I’m at the end of my tether with them now unfortunately 🙁 A Suhr could well be a possibility. I really like the look of a few of the Suhr Modern’s.
Best of luck with the new axe man, can’t wait to hear you tear it up on it!

I’ve played some Suhr’s at last years NAMM, they play great, are very resonant too. SImilar to the older TOm Anderson or even Brian Moore in feel.

I must admit, I’m not a big Ibanez fan. My JS1000 is great, but I think I got lucky. Most other Ibanii (remember that one, Tom? :grin:) that I’ve played were terrible.

Wow, big congrats Tom! I’ll miss seeing you with your Ibanez but I bet this Suhr will be totally amazing. Can’t wait to see it in action. Let us know how you like it!

By the way, is there a picture on their site with the exact finish you got?

Good for you! Suhr guitars are definitely boutique;well made and beautiful. They remind me alot of Tom Anderson guitars. I love the figured tops. Guthrie Govans’ Suhr in his ‘Fives’ video is absolutely gorgeous. What color are you getting?

Hi guys! Well, I’m just waiting for the guitar to be finished. I had originally put a deposit down on an existing Suhr in Newcastle but the amazing Ed Yoon from Suhr guitars offered me such an awesome deal on building me a custom that I couldn’t say no! It’s a trans blue denim flame topped standard specced out to the max with two single coils and a bridge humbucker. It should be arriving sometime at the end of June/ beginning of July hopefully. I’m struggling to sleep with the excitement…

Full pictures and videos when it arrives. Waiting is so hard to do! I’ll be using it for everything I do including IG tutorials so you’ll be seeing a lot of it!

That’s great man! I’ll bet you can’t wait. :p Good for you, as you deserve it. 😎 BTW, I know you’re “down” on the Ibanez’s these days, but let me remind you that you did some fine playing and accomplished quite a bit on those Ibanez’s, so remember that. (Just like I’m sure you have a place in your heart for your Yamaha Pacifica’s too!!! – LOL!) Also, I love the pickup-configuration that you’re getting on the Suhr, as that is my pickup-configuration of choice, as you can have the best of all worlds (funky/clean, bluesy/edge, full-shred/high-gain!) 😉 Best of luck with it bro. Isn’t it cool how a new axe can get you fired up and/or revitalized? (not that you need revitalization Tom!!!) 😉 😎

Well I don’t want to steal Tom’s thunder in announcing this, (as I’m sure he’ll be doing this in the next few days anyways!) but Tom Quayles custom-made Suhr guitar has arrived! 😎 Needless to say, Tom is absolutely BEAMING about how gorgeous and awesome this guitar is! 😀 If anyone wants a head’s-up/sneak-peek at Tom’s new beauty, check out Tom’s YouTube channel (tq105) and be sure to wear a “bib” as you might just drool when you see it!!! 😉 What a stunning and incredible instrument he has now! WOW! I also can’t wait to hear him “tearing-it-up” on his new machine! 😮 🙂
