    OK as it’s a new year I decided to rearrange my set up. I thought I’d post some pics of where I now make all my IG videos.

    Firstly, here’s where I sit and play:

    I do all of the GP5 stuff on this pc and the Mac is for internet (still haven’t got round to learning Logic yet) amongst other stuff:

    I’m gonna use the Wii whenever I get the time and use it for some fun excercise. Gotta get fit this year!

    Hey Rick!

    Two questions:

    1. What’s that to the right of your keyboard/controller in picture #1? (It loks like a standalone digital recorder, maybe with built-in drum machine, like Zom or Akai?

    2. What type of Hughes & Kettner head is that? Is it a “Tri-Amp?” I love some of there stuff! I’ve used (for the last 14 years!) a Hughes & Kettner Access MIDI Programmable Preamp! It was state-of-the-art back in ’93! (It’s still a GREAT preamp BTW!) I remember paying $1300.00 for it back then! Awesome gear though! Please let me know what head that is? Alex Lifeson used a bunch of signature Tri-Amps the last time I saw Rush, (I’m a big fan!) and he had the BEST sound he’s EVER had (and I’ve seen them 9 times, I should know!)

    Hey Bill

    That is a Yamaha AW16G digital multitrack recorder. I used to use that on its own before I started recording with the pc.

    That head is the Switchblade 100 head. Bought from new last year (well, 2007). Great sounding head although it’s not quite the sound I’m after.

    That is so cool to see your “behind the scenes” Rick. Thanks for sharing those photos!

    I really like your floor by the way. It’s tiled yet also wooden looking. What kind of flooring is that?

    Oh man, if a decorater asked me what kind of room arrangement do I want, I would probably say: This one.

    Hey Pekki! 🙂

    I agree. Rick has a beautiful studio-layout and some nice gear! Then again, what should we have expected, right?!? 😉

    Along your line of “hypothetical-questioning,” I offer the following:

    If GOD asked me what kind of talent & ability I wanted, I would definitely say “Rick Graham’s!”

    Furthermore, Rick’s a nice person too! 😎
