Funny you should mention that Bill, I’ve been listening to pornograffitti by Extreme. Haven’t listened to it in years. Great guitar playing by Nuno but I can’t stand the vocals by Gary Cherone.

I used to have that cd. Lost it for some reason. I LOVE Nuno’s playing on that one. He has such a cool style.

Yeah, fantastic playing from Nuno on that album. I remember back when it came out my brother had bought it
and I was like ‘what have you bought that for”, not knowing what kind of music it was and he said ‘listen to this’ and proceeded to play the solo to get the funk out. It blew my mind; I was going ‘what the hell is THAT’?!
His rhythm playing is really tasty too, obviously a massive EVH fan but in his own way. Great stuff.

For sure! Yeah a similar thing happened to me. A lot of years back, one of my students came in with that cd. I thought “Great, this is going to be lame” haha. But yeah when we put it in I was blown away. His funk rhythms are outstanding.

Talking about it makes me want that album again. 🙂
