What do you guys use for drum sounds?

I currently use Drumkit from hell superior but I will be getting version 2.0 soon.

Stuck with EZDrummer and fruityloops, although I hate fruity loops and I’m gonna start using Cubase SX and just run it in that instead.

cubase is simply awesome for programming drums in.

i use sx3 and ezdrummer+dfh for drums. sounds pretty decent.

I’m using Addictive Drums in Logic Studio – right now using a midi keyboard to program them but really need a “pad”…

We have a Cubase lessons started around here and drum lessons will be there very very soon 🙂

Band in a Box is great for creating instant drum tracks in various styles. You can also edit in your own fills and so forth after the initial track is compiled.

Afterwards I’ll render it with Garritan Studio in Finale to get those realistic sounds.

I’m not a drummer, so i may be missing some things in drums programming but it works for me so far. You can check some of my drums in my profile page by listening to the mp3 with my stuff 🙂

I use a Boss DR-880 drum machine, it’s very easy to use and sounds great:)

Toontrack’s EZ-drummer series here.
Will be getting the Superior 2.0 next week I think.

I’m on the Toontrack EZ drummer series as well – mainly the Claustrophobic. And then Cubase.

I can’t help thinking that Superier 2.0 is so much better – how much better is it?

One word, Insane!
The guys at Toontrack are good friends of mine (we live in Umeå, where Toontrack is situated),
so I have been given a lot of previews of S.2.0 and it slays! WIll be getting a copy of my own soon.

I was also over at their booth when I was with Flaxwood guitars at NAMM
(we were both in Hall E). And they had a really good drummer demoing S.2.0 for them.
DAMN that sounded good. Can’t wait to get mine. And the cool thing is, you can load all those sounds into ez-drummer. All the simplicity, but with even greater sound and flexibility. Definitely check it out!
