this is the only thing i could find on youtube that played the song off the cd without interuptions

the techniques used in this song are awesome, soo many for one song

There really isn’t one song that I take alot of my techniques from. It would be a culmination of alot of stuff.

But for the most part, alot of how I play really came from Crushing Day by Joe Satriani. It really has everything you could want in a solo.

Thats a hard question to answer.

When I began learning fingerstyle alot of my technique was modeled around Joe Pass arrangements. I guess some of the techniques I picked up should be credited to him, but more of what I learnt was on the rhythmic side rather than pure techniqe.

Otherwise, most of the tunes I learn are played by brass instruments to begin with. So there is no guitar to copy/learn from really.

Song wise, there’s no answer. But the 3 players I most closely sound like nowadays are Matt Bellamy, Steph Carpenter and David Gilmour.
