Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer. This is the segment where we totally sell-out and play one of the all-time most famous Christmas songs.

Forced into a new meter, 4/4, this is yet another section which heavily revolves around executing a simple melody-line. Notice the smooth legato approach as well as the more stuccato one from one bar to the next.

The reggae feel, for a while, gave me a bit of trouble upon transitioning from the 6/8 feel of the rest of the song, but after a while it began to seem rather natural. Practice makes perfect, people! Let's do it!

The song concludes with a reference to "Joy To The World" at the tail-end of the Rudolph melody. This melody takes an unexpected twist and references the 6/8 minor feel that the bulk of the arrangemtn is based around.

That's it for this month, folks!

Have a Very Merry Christmas and a Happiest of New Years!
