John Petrucci is pretty much the one who got me into this simple and fun sliding technique. I remember hearing some of his solos and really liking how the slides gave so much feeling to his playing.
In this lesson, we'll focus on incorporating the downward sliding technique into a more melodic passage. Have fun with it!
When you finish this lesson, go make your own variations using the sliding technique. Focus on a series of notes that you can enhance with slides in appropriate places.
