When I was growing up (well…still working on that actually! – LOL!) in Massachuseets – USA, we used either the term tonic or soda. I noticed that “tonic” is NOT on the list, so maybe here in my locale, we’re a buch of anomaly/weirdos! (LOL!) Of the choices, the map correctly sites the Northeast of USA as using the term soda, I suppose. Never ever did we use the word “Pop,” unless we were referring (derogatorally) to the likes of Madonna, Milli Vanilli, or Vanilla Ice, etc. (LOL – Ha-Ha!!!) :rolleyes: 😮 :p 😎
