    Hi there,

    I’ve been playing guitar for nearly 12 years and am still pretty mediocre so I’m hoping that I will improve now that I’ve become a member here. I started off with Oasis, Nirvana, Green Day and Metallica and I haven’t really moved forward from that much.

    I’ve met Rick Graham a couple of times (last year at Guthrie Govan’s clinic in Coventry and again at the Wembley guitar show – he’s a very nice guy) and I reckon if he’s on the staff here, this must be a very good place to learn.

    I may post on the forum occasionally to ask stupid questions and make random statements šŸ™‚

    And yes, I’d have to agree. Rick is a pretty nice guy. Not a bad guitar player either. šŸ˜‰

    Im in the same boat Mandz, looking to get into theory and learn to improvise, because im deffinatly solo shy, but i can sit down and write one! Im looking into theory because I want to learn to make the most of the music i play. Which includes a lot of “weird” chords and just crazy music in the stylings of Between The Buried And Me, for sheer mind exploding awesome-ness, and Opeth for their brilliant chord progressions, but i am a metal head!
