    A friend of my GF told me they had a guitar in the attic which had been there for ages gathering dust and I asked if I could have a look at it. They said ‘sure’ and I went round today to check it out. I opened the case and discovered this inside:

    Had some feedback from the guys at the JP forum with some pretty astounding valuations.
    I’m gonna meet up with the owners today to talk about where to go from here.
    Crazy stuff man and what a bizarre day it was yesterday šŸ˜®

    holy crap man, Insane!!!
    I have a friend that has a pretty beaten up 64′
    it’s valued at over 20000ā‚¬
    So that 61, in that condition, should not fetch below
    the 30000ā‚¬ mark.

    Awesome guitar Rick! I thought it was funny how some people on the Petrucci forum were either trying to encourage you to rip-off the owners with a low-ball offer or some were trying to talk you OUT of such thievery?!? They OBVIOUSLy don’t know Rick Graham, do they? :rolleyes: I can tell from what I know of you that such a thought (ripping off a naive owner) NEVER even crossed your mind! I’m glad that those people (owners) are friends with your GF, and not the girlfriend of some SCUMBAG who would rip them off! šŸ˜‰

    Yeah man, I’ve calmed a bit since yesterday but my head is still doing a kylie!
    I can’t tell you how much I’m looking forward to finding out what it’s actually worth and the history behind it.

    BillM – Maybe some of the guys who posted after me missed my post. I just couldn’t do that to anybody man. Gotta say that I’m really happy for them.

    Certainly will Sean. The guitar is gonna be in my hands for at least the next week so I’m just gonna play, play and then play some more šŸ˜‰

    That is one sickeningly valuable Guitar man. It looks absolutely MINT aswell!
    How does it play ? I’d love to hear a recording of it šŸ˜€ If you can be bothered / spare the time.

    I can’t promise that I’ll do a tutorial with it but I’ll be recording audio and video with it for sure. They are really pleased that I’ll be recording with it as it was stuffed away for over 10 years doing nothing šŸ˜®
