Holy cow Tim, that sounds brilliant. That’s you singing right? I love your voice, and the new Martin sounds killer.

You’ve got the whole package dude! You planning on making a full album?

Wow, I can only agree with Sean – great sounding instrument, wonderful voice. You’ve got such a nice “natural breakup” in your voice on this recording. And that Martin seems to be the perfect kind of acoustic guitar to have – must be pretty inspiring to play on such a full sounding instrument. šŸ˜Ž

Did you record the guitar with one mic or did you actually use a stereo setup? Just recently I’ve been experimenting with guitar sounds myself and found that a stereo setup can yield pretty cool results if you don’t want or can’t overdub the guitar for left/right panning. But whatever you used, you can confidently leave it that way. šŸ™‚

Hey, thanks alot guys. It is me singing indeed Sean, singing is kind of really new for me at this point. I’ll hopefully be releasing an ep with my band within a year or so.

One thing I will say though, the guitar probably sounds much fuller because of the sub bass that I threw on the track. And Thilo, I used a stereo setup with some condenser mic aimed at the sound hole and a dynamic mic catching the fingerboard noise. It really is a beautiful inspiring guitar to play.

Again, thanks for your feedback guys!

    Tim
