i would like to get a real book. right now i just use online at http://www.realbook.us/ but the problem is there are SO many jazz standerds and im not sure whats easy and whats not. its a trial and error right now. are the books orginized by skill level? that would help me alot

somthing i dont get…slash. i dont see the big deal. some people say he is the biggest insperation to there playing. sure he is good and the sweet child o mine riff is cool but iv been on forums where people say he is the best guitarist ever. idk waht do you guys think?

i like pantera but yea it hink there overrated. dimebag is a good guitariest but totaly overrated. BUT he was a really nice guy. the interviews i read and the stuff i hear about the guy only proves he was a good person. the band rocked hard and i love there music. i remember when i hurd cowboys from hell when i was 15. it changed my life. and i respect the band and dimebag.

you say teh fretboard is dry? first thing i would do is put some lemon oil on the fretboard. but not that much. the fretboard could have been cracked befor it was put on the guitar

i practice riffing and scales and speed and rhythm alot. but lately iv been thinking about getting somthign to record to and start arranging and creating sweet harmonys. also i practice chords and learning songs via guitar pro

i am in the market to buy a new jackson as well. although i hear that the USA jacksons rock from what iv been reading the overseas stuff also rocks. im picking up a jackson dkgmt in the next few weeks (http://www.guitarcenter.com/Jackson-DKMGT-Dinky-Electric-Guitar-512241-i1147632.gc) iv been playing alot of jacksons. i live about 20 minutes away from two guitar centers so i go to each one all the time. from what iv pllayed i hate the RR3 it feels like plasic. but the Dinky series (why do they call it dinky!@$#%#? so unmetal) plays amazing. personaly im turned off by EMG pickups but i cant seem to get the model i want without them. i do not want a floyd rose. just a normal bridge for me lol.

i hate deans. what they are doing with dimebags name is horrible. and ESP are a sell out comany IMO. nothing is more metal then a jackson. with that said check out http://www.jacksonguitarpalace.com and http://www.jcfonline.com/ they will be able to help you im sure. good luck finding the jackson u want
