    Hi there!

    Looking forward to learn something from all the great players on this site. I´ve been playing for about 18 years and feel like I need some fresh blood.

    I´m very much into technical ****. I could listen to progressive metal til I die. 🙂 But I´m nowhere near my inspirations in command of my craft. Hope there´s tutors on this site who can inspire and open that door.

    Inspiration for me is Petrucci, Vai, M.Eklundh, S.Lane, Lukather, S.Morse. Tommy Emmanuel, Holdsworth…Hell, there´s too many of them. =) I´ll be scanning the scen, hope to see some good ****. Cheers!

    Yo Eric! What particular prog bands are you into? I’m assuming Dream Theater is one with you listing Petrucci as an influence. Who else? Welcome to IG man! 🙂

    Well, there´s a lot of bands like DT, Pain of salvation, Symphony X, LTE. And also prog bands like Flower Kings, Spocks Beard, Transatlantic and so on. I like those epic tracks with different time changes and stuff. But I also like slick stuff like Lukather. Intricate stuff like Meshuggah and wacky stuff like Freak Kitchens Mathias Eklundh. ****, you could say I like a lot. Love your guitar by the way!

    Thanks man! It’s been a very faithful axe the past year or so. What’s your axe of choice? You play MusicMan too?

    Yeah! I got the MusicMan Petrucci 6 Piezo MD. I also have the old Ibanez Jpm2, a Olp copy and a sterling copy. Good guitars!
