Now we're on to the main focus of this lesson. As said in the intro, be sure to focus on phrasing, feel, vibrato, bending, and accenting.
I've tried to include a lot of detail in the notation below, but there is still a lot that can't be taught without listening! Don't feel pressured to follow the pick strokes, hammer-ons / pull-offs, etc. Focus on the notes and the overall mood that we're striving for.
Over a different backing, this lick would sound great with a swing feel.
