    Hi guys!

    Just thought I’d share a preview of a song I’ve been working on today. Nowhere near finished but it gives you an idea.

    Sounding awesome Tom! Totally fresh and unique. When you come back into the chorus the second time at 1:29 I heard some funky harmonies possibly. Maybe on the whole chorus melody, or maybe just on the fast runs at 1:43 and 1:49. Sounding great how it is though!

    When’s the expected album release date?

    I had a similar idea – in fact I recorded a harmony part for the fast runs but it ended up sounding a bit too Steve Vai for my tastes! I really like the idea though and it actually sounded really good doubled up 1 octave higher so I might end up doing that.

    I want to get it finished by the end of the year but we’ll see!

    Woah there Tom!
    That was so sick man!! Had me tapping my foot all the way through!
    That new Suhr really is awesome, your phrases seem so much more resonant and generally all round much better in comparison to your Ibanez!
    I’m hoping to purchase a Suhr soon myself šŸ™‚
    Anyway man, that was by far the coolest track i’ve heard from you.
    I can’t wait for your album, it will definitely be getting purchased by me and thousands of others I’m sure šŸ˜‰

    Hi Tom,

    You’ve got a solid groove going there. I had to listen to it many times to catch it as my ears are pretty under developed, but the song is definitely alive and kicking.

    I thought the backing track (or the entire song, actually) was a bit under developed, but I assume you’re only looking for feedback on the tune as its in early alpha. šŸ˜€

    Take your time with the album, man! We’ll all be waiting and in the process you’ll also definitely be gaining more fans. šŸ˜€

    Hey Tom,

    that’s my favourite track of yours so far šŸ™‚
    I really like the “rockish” beginning, going over to some more melodic stuff mixed with some of your hybrid-legato-lines. And your new guitar has such a “rich” sound, I don’t know how to describe it, but the word that comes to my mind is, that it is a lot more resonant than your Ibanez.
