Hello everyone! I was just thinking a while in songs that girls go crazy when you play to them! Those are the typical songs that us as guitarists classify as songs with simple chord progressions, no shred, etc. etc. :p
But still, i think its a must have in a shredders repertoire! 😀
Can anyone recommend me some great songs like these that are good to sing over, and acoustic songs only please! 😀
Thank you very much guys! 😀

Hmmm there are tons of them, but the very first band that popped in my head for something like that is Goo Goo Dolls. Learn some of their acoustic tunes! 🙂
There are tons of them but it would be worth having several Beatles classics in your bag of tricks.
Pulling something like ‘Blackbird’ out of the bag can work wonders man. 😀You mean acoustic or with a band? I´ve had some success with Enter Sandman (but seriously, everyone goes crazy to this) and Zeppelins Stairway. Also Amy Winehouses Stronger than Me works wonders, but good luck singing that without a GOOD female singer.

just acoustic, like if all you had is an acoustic guitar and your voice, that type of stuff 😀
and thanks for the suggestions! 😀Mellisa (Allman Bros) ,Getting in tune(the Who)Love reign over me.
Like Sean said….. Goo Goo Dolls has some good stuff

The first songs I ever learned to play on acoustic were…
Oasis – Wonderwall
Eagle Eye Cherry – Save Tonight
Tom Petty – Freefallin’These were just the ones my counselors at summer sleep away camp taught me, but man oh man did the ladies love em. Then again, I was about 12 or so, but I’ve pulled them out now and again and they still seem to work haha. People gather around you and join in on the singing. Tote around a djembe or similar drum for extra points.
