Again the arpeggios we'll be using are: Cmaj 7 - Dm7 - Em7 - Fmaj7 - G7 - Am7 - Bm7b5.

Not only is this sweep idea cool and useful but these arpeggio shapes are extremely useful!

They sit under the fingers very well. I play at least one of them every single time I play guitar.

The reason they work so well is because of the consistency between each arpeggio.

If you've noticed, they follow a specific pattern; 2, 1, 2, 1, 2.

What this means is that we have 2 notes on the A string, 1 on the D string, 2 on the G string, 1 on the B string and 2 on the high E string. This goes for all of these arpeggio shapes. 

This makes applying our sweep idea very easy. If we know the rhythm associated with the idea/lick, we can apply is to all 7 arpeggios with ease.
