Guitar Setup and Cleaning: Restringing

Now I know most of us if not all of us know how to resting our guitars. Well, this is the most effective way I have found when restringing this specific kind of guitar. (fixed bridge and standard non-locking tuners)

There are two main things I think about when I restring.

#1. Creating enough slack

#2. Creating a knot 

I try to give at least 4 inches of slack when restinging. I judge this by how high the string can sit above the fretboard (4 inches).

This usually will give me a nice amount of windings on the tuner. 

I also make sure to create some sort of knot right at the tuner so that my string doesn't slip. (as shown in the video)
