Chromatic Line Test - Ascending.

Advanced Chords Jazz
Nick Granville 14 lessons

In this lesson I show a way to move through chord progessions (II, V, I, VI in this case) while keeping an ascending chromatic line on the top. This lesson builds on the previous one so if you have not watched that, then do that first.

Next step:

1. Do this same thing in other keys. Bb is an obvious choice as a starting place as it is the most popular key in jazz music, but other keys will present other challenges.

2. Do this same thing with other chord progressions; both simple and complex.
