Hey Richard, š
I know that you recorded Fretdance a LONG time ago and that your style (as a player and composer) has evolved, but I believe that there are certain undeniable traits that most musicians carry with them through their careers (IE: Tone, Vibrato, Timing & Rhythm, Melody, Pacing, Touch/Dynamics, etc.) regardless of stylistic/genre specificity! That having been said, I do realize that some of these elements will be highlighted more than others, depending on style/genre. š
At the very least, Fretdance allows the listener an opportunity to hear that you are an OUTSTANDING GUITARIST & MUSICIAN, and that you do not settle for playing just like everyone else! In other words, your quest for a “unique-voice” (albeit always a work-in-progress for all artists) shines through brightly! I think there’s some awesome stuff on Fretdance, and your Tone and Performances (as usual) are FANTASTIC! š
All of you Infinite Guitarists out here should take full advantage of this unique opportunity to “sneak-a-peek” into Richard Lundmark’s past! š
P.S. I agree with Sean Conklin that it is GREAT NEWS to here that you are atleast planning another LP/recording at some point! Very Cool! š
