Classical Guitar Solo - 'Lagrima' part 2

Rick Graham 210 lessons

For section 2, we have changed key from E major to E minor. I feel that this parallel key change lends itself to emotive composition and can be extremely effective.

Again, make sure you balance each individual part and be sure to achieve a clear, singing melody.

I'd like you to experiment as much as you can with your right hand fingering for this piece and don't feel that you have to use your 'a' finger for rest strokes(or free strokes) on the top strings. It can be very easy to fall into a fingering trap and feel as if you shouldn't do it any other way. I feel this can be a very negative thing and I encourage all of my students to try whatever fingerings they feel are comfortable and effective.

Well done, and I'll see you next time!
