OK, for the intro to this I decided to try to emulate the sound of a banjo with a rolling type of effect.
This works very well on the guitar and is not too difficult to replicate. In this case we play a g note at the 5th fret of the 4th string which alternates with the open 3rd string g note and a fifth above that at fret 3 of string 2.
