Country Guitar Solo - Rhythm Section

Lets now take a look at what I have called the 'rhythm section'.

The majority of this section is made up of patterns which have alternating 8th note basslines juxtaposed with a syncopated upper part. If you are new to this style of playing it would be worth checking out some of the recordings made by Chet Atkins who was a master in this style of playing.

I have tried to keep the rhythm parts interesting by adding licks between chords so it is vital that you maintain a steady rhythm at all times. The licks should be fluid and controlled and should flow seemlessly from one chord to the next. Practicing with a metronome is highly advised here.
