Tutorial - A Plethora of Licks

G Major Sextuplet Lick

Robert Mussatti 91 lessons

Welcome! I bring you another lick to satisfy your pallet, and this one is not for the faint of heart. This one is going to be a simple G Major sextuplet run starting on the 3rd fret of the low E string, all the way up to the D note on the high E string, 22nd fret.

This lick is mainly all legato using only a down stroke on the beginning of each triplet, but it is played at a very fast speed, about 160bpm to be exact. (for a sextuplet run, that is very fast. Think of it as playing triplets at 320bpm)

I will say though, that if any of you, should you get through playing this run, you find that your fingers have fallen off and have become infected with gangrene... I will take full responsibility! ;)

Good Luck!
