Hi guys, thought I’d post an entry for this comp! It’s not up too much, but hey it’s getting there! It would be awesome if you guys could give me some feedback š Hope you all had a good Crimbo and Happy New Year! š

Rubislaw, š
Nice entry man! You laid down some very interesting note-choices there, and you certainly didn’t just “play-it-safe!” š
The arpeggiated approach (early-on) reminded me a bit of that guy who won that last “Shred-This” contest (Sorry, but I can’t remember his name? BTW, it’s NOT that you copied him either! It’s just that the APPROACH – with the arpeggiated & overdriven chords many of which sounded suspended (sus2 or sus4) to me – although I didn’t actually check?) š
I did like how you mixed-up a variety of ideas/approaches/licks/runs/phrases/etc. Very interesting indeed! š
Best of luck! š

Haha, you’re using some of the same stuff I’m planning on using, the Min7 arpeggios and the taps etc. at about 1:00. I’m liking the diminished runs too. One of the best entries so far I think, certainly one of the most original!
Thanks guys! Bill: Those chords were actually just based off of the pentatonic scale, I haven’t checked what they are myself! Although there are a few add 9s I think š And sorry Angus! I seem to have stolen your ideas š Thanks for the feedback!
hey Rubislaw… cool entry mate! i loved the “satch arpeggios” good luck!
Thanks man! Again, loved your entry š
Great take man, really enjoyed it!
Thanks Rick! š
I enjoyed that one mate, Love that Pgm301 too ;);)
