Reading Music For Guitar - Open Position Exercises

Robert Mussatti 91 lessons

This lesson is going to contain a few exercises that you can go through for practice with the open string notes that we learned in the previous lesson. These start off simple and with only the 3 string groups. The first example will use the High E, B and G strings. The second example will use the Low E, A and D strings. After going through the ones with the 3 string groups, we will be combining them and using all 6 open strings, which is the last exercise. Make sure that you go through these slowly at first, making sure to not repeat or stay on any lines if you make a mistake. Also make sure that you are keeping your eyes on the music and not on the guitar.
