Hey IG'ists and welcome to my latest tutorial in which we will be looking at a rock tune called 'Golden Champagne'.

To begin with I'd like to give you a little background on the track.

I wrote it around 6 years ago when I first bought my Ibanez JS2000 'Champagne Gold' guitar. As a celebration, I decided to open a bottle of champagne and spent the night enjoying myself and being creative. The track is more to do with how I felt after drinking the champagne than to do with the colour of the guitar although the two are interlinked.

The intro was my attempt at recreating the moment of the first sip of champagne from the champagne flute and the music attempts to recreate the feeling of that first glass.

As always, pay attention to the motifs which occur during the melody and how I develop those motifs throughout the track and in particular during the solo.

I hope you enjoy it and I'll see you in the next lesson for the breakdown!
