Right Hand Dynamics - Example 2

Here's a funky example of how to get a different sound on your guitar! I like to call this 'alternate picking with your fingers,' because you repeatedly attack the strings up and down with your thumb and finger. It provides a very unique timbre, and has a cool staccato characteristic.

I prefer to use my thumb and 2nd finger, but you can use whatever feels best for you. It may take some practice, so I'd recommend you experiment with the technique, before trying this lick. Keep in mind that this idea will work just as well with a pick.
