Hybrid Picking Sequences - Example 2

In example 2, we use the same A Dorian mode, but this time we will also encounter a position shift, moving up the fretboard ascending, and then descending further up the neck. In this example you should note that when descending I'm using a different pattern all together, and use the pick only, in "Gambale-fashion".

Those descending 4 note arpeggios is a very common "jazz-thingie" and I choose to incorporate it just to demonstrate how easy it is to combine Hybrid picking with regular picking in a sequence context.

You should try playing this idea starting from any position, in any mode or scale.
