1 Octave Major Scale on 2 Strings

Pavel Denisjuk 37 lessons

Now let's sequence a whole scale exercise on 2 strings. I used D-Major scale for this exercise and used 3-notes-per-string boxes to move the sequences up the fretboard.

In order to achieve optimal speed you need to relax and breathe (may sound funny but I've witnessed a lot of players who forget to breath while shredding) and focus on what sequence is coming next.

Before you hit it in the super speed, practice it really slowly and make each note stands out so you can hear a nice, clean sound.

There is nothing extra special for this exercise, it's here for you to get your hands moving and synchronized which is really important thing.

Got it down? Move on to the next lesson!
